Bengaluru: 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of rape and murder of 50-year-old construction worker

In a shocking incident, a woman’s body has been founded after she was allegedly raped and murdered near the Amruthahalli Cofe Board in Bengaluru. The woman originally hailed from the Devadurga region of the Raichur district of Karnataka. 

The suspect in this case is an 18-year-old man. The woman worked as a construction labourer. The youngster is believed to have dragged her to a secluded spot before committing the heinous act. The incident occurred on the night of 2nd April. A case has been registered in the Amruthahalli Police Station.

The woman’s age is estimated to be around 50. She had arrived in Bengaluru in search of work. She brought 3 children along with her to Bengaluru. She resided in the Varadaraju extension in the Amruthahalli region of Bengaluru. She strayed outside her home at 7 PM on 2nd April. The man dragged the woman to an under construction site before proceeding to violate her body. He later fled from the spot after having killed her. Her body was spotted by workers in the early hours of 3rd April. She was naked and covered with blood. The Amruthahalli Police officials were informed of the incident. The suspect is alleged to be behind bars presently.
