Bengaluru: 2 arrested over assault in road rage incident

An incident of road rage occurred in the Siddapura locality in Whitefield, Bengaluru. A car carrying a family was attacked by miscreants repeatedly. 2 men on a bike chased the car for quite some time and threatened to inflict violence on the car driver. 

The incident was captured by the dash cam attached in the car. Through the footage obtained from the camera, it can be seen that the men were attempting to get the occupants of the car to move out of it. The victims however were determined not to yield to their threats. They did not get much help from other bystanders on the road. The men on the bike had fended off those who attempted some intervention in this regard. 

However, since the incident was captured on camera, the victims could ensure that it could be transmitted into the world of social media. This proved to be a blessing as the incident came to the notice of the Bengaluru police who had a First Information Report (FIR) registered in the Whitefield Police Station and had the 2 accused arrested. The video of the incident had become viral causing others to recount similar instances they had to face. The Bengaluru police replied affirmatively to some of them.
