In a shocking incident, 2 youngsters died after colliding with a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) garbage collection truck. The incident occurred near the K.R Circle. The deceased individuals have been identified as 25-year-old Prashant and 27-year-old Shilpa.
The incident is reported to have occurred at 9 o’clock on 28th July. Prashant is a native of Bengaluru. Prashant and Shilpa are believed to be friends. They worked for the same company. Prashant and Shilpa worked for the International Tech Park (ITPL) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) located in Bengaluru. Shilpa stayed in a Paying Guest (PG) Accommodation. She had ventured out to have some food when the tragedy occurred.

Prashant and Shilpa were headed towards the K.R Circle from Majestic when their bike collided with the BBMP garbage truck. The truck is reported to have arrived at a very high speed from the CID circle towards the K.R Circle. The unexpected nature of the truck’s movement caused the tragic accident. The bodies are said to have been dragged for 10 metres due to the collision. Prashant and Shilpa were taken to a nearby hospital but they died on the way. A case has been filed in the Upparpet Traffic Police Station.
