Four members of a family hailing from West Bengal were discovered lifeless at a poultry farm in Bengaluru.
The victims include a 60-year-old man who was overseeing the poultry farm, his wife, their son, and a close relative. This tragic incident unfolded at a farm located in Doddabelavangala, near Doddaballapur, during the early hours of September 17.
The distressing discovery was made by the man’s daughter and her husband, who work at a nearby poultry farm. Upon their arrival at the farm, they were shocked to find the four individuals deceased inside a room, all in a sleeping position.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Kale Sarare, a 60-year-old man, his wife Lakshmi Sarare, aged 50, their 16-year-old son Kushal Sarare, and their relative Phool Kumari, aged 40, all hailing from West Bengal. They had relocated to Doddabelavangala approximately a month ago, and the senior Sarare had been employed at the poultry farm, which belonged to a man named Mohan Kumar.
The daughter, Gauri Sarera, aged 30, and her husband S Rishu Burman, also aged 30, arrived at the farm in the morning and were devastated to discover the lifeless bodies of their family members. Without delay, they notified Mohan Kumar, who, in turn, alerted the police.
Police suspect deaths to have caused by suffocation. Bengaluru Police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating it.
