The Nirvana International Spa located in Mahadevapura along Old Madras Road was subject to a raid by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru. Investigations extended over a period of 4 hours. 

The Spa was being run in the 1st floor and 6th floor of a multi-storied building. The women protection taskforce of the CCB had reached the spot. The illegal activities are reported to have taken place inside 34 rooms of the multi-storied building.

Anil belonging to a different state and incharge of running the spa was arrested by the CCB for further questioning. Several illegal activities including Body-to-Body massages were happening inside the premises. 

Women from other states and countries were being used to provide these services. 44 women were rescued during the raids. 34 customers who would avail such as service have been taken into custody. A case has been filed in relation to this incident in the Mahadevapura Police Station.
