Bengaluru: 46 areas to face power cut

    Projects undertaken by BESCOM and KPTCL are stated to be reasons for the power cut

    BESCOM has requested citizens to exercise patience

    35 disctricts were affected on September 13th

Almost every other day, there is at least one area that is not receiving supply of electricity. Various projects that are being undertaken by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) and the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) are stated to be the reason for this. On September 14th, 46 areas would be affected by load shedding. On September 13th, 35 areas were affected by power cuts. The power cuts were in effect for around 7-8 hours. BESCOM has requested the citizens to aid them in the completion of their projects by exercising patience for a short duration of time. 

Guddadha camp and Church camp were among regions of the city affected by the power cuts. Hale Chikkanahalli, Hosa Chikkanahalli, Obbajihalli, Malladihalli, Hosa Kadalebalu, Hale Kadalebalu, R. Nulenur, Basapura, Gaudihalli, Gollarahalli, Kunte Gowdanahalli, Surappanahatti, Yaladabagi, Havinahalu, Kataveeranahalli, Ajjayanapalya, L.H.palya, Borasandra and Bidarahalli would face inconsistencies in the supply of electricity. 

Dasarahalli, Hunjanala, Venkatapura, Gaudihalli, Gollarahalli, Venkateshpura, Hulikere, Venkatapura, Saluparahalli, Seebi Agrahara, Durgadahalli, Thippanahalli, Shettihalli, Byadarahalli, Rajajinagar 8th Road, Rajajinagar 19th Road, Hampinagar, RPC Layout, Atthiguppe include the 46 areas that would face power cuts.
