Actor Darshan, who was granted bail by the Karnataka High Court, was discharged from BGS Hospital on Monday after being treated for back pain. The other accused are expected to walk free this evening, following their bail grants. The actor was seen traveling in a car to his wife Vijayalakhmi’s residence, notably without showing any signs of limping, despite previously being granted medical bail on the grounds of his back issues.

Darshan, along with several others, had been arrested in June for their alleged involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy, a Chitradurga resident. Renukaswamy was reportedly abducted and taken to a shed in Kengeri, where he was killed. The incident allegedly stemmed from Renukaswamy sending inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda, the first accused in the case.
The Karnataka High Court, in granting bail, noted that the police had failed to serve a memo of arrest to the accused, and there were no prior criminal records against them. While the case remains under investigation, the release of Darshan and the others has drawn attention to the legal proceedings surrounding the high-profile murder case.
