Kannada Television Serial actor Sunny Mahipal has had serious allegations levied against him. A young woman has alleged that Sunny Mahipal led her to believe that he would marry her and established a sexual relationship with her. The woman added that he later on got engaged to another woman and when confronted over this attacked her with a knife on her left hand. The woman is currently undergoing medical treatment for her injuries. 

The DCP of the Whitefield Division Shivakumar Gunare provided an update regarding this incident. “Sunny already has cases registered against him. The woman is believed to have entered his apartment. She is 3 months pregnant. A fight occurred in the apartment. We are collecting more information pertaining to this incident,” he said.

Sunny got acquainted with the woman in January 2024. The love between the 2 of them blossomed due to their interaction on social media. Sunny is reported to have got married to the woman in a temple on June 15th. They however did not stay together. Sunny supposedly told the woman that he would have to convince his parents first.
Sunny also apparently told the woman that their interactions should provide the impression of a friendship. The woman accepted this condition. She however is said to have been informed of Sunny meeting another woman. She reached Mahipal’s house in Vignan Nagar on 22nd June at 9:30 PM. A fight ensued shortly. The fight is also reported to have resulted in miscarriage.
