Russia’s cutting-edge Su-57 stealth fighter jet is one of the biggest highlights at the Bengaluru Airshow 2025, showcasing its next-generation capabilities in front of aviation enthusiasts and military experts. As Russia’s first operational fifth-generation fighter, the Su-57 stands apart with its blend of stealth, supermaneuverability, and advanced sensor integration.

Designed by Sukhoi, the Su-57 is built to rival Western stealth fighters like the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. Unlike its American counterparts, however, the Su-57 features advanced thrust vectoring, allowing it to perform extreme aerial maneuvers such as the Pugachev’s Cobra and bell maneuver with ease. The aircraft’s high degree of static instability and fly-by-wire controls make it one of the most agile jets in modern air combat.

One of the defining features of the Su-57 is its stealth technology. The aircraft utilizes a combination of radar-absorbent materials (RAM), serpentine air inlets, and internal weapons bays to significantly reduce its radar cross-section. While its frontal stealth is heavily optimized, Russia has focused on ensuring that the aircraft operates effectively within its integrated air defense system.

Another standout aspect of the Su-57 is its weaponry. The jet features two large internal weapons bays capable of carrying a variety of air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, including the K/R-77M and Kh-35U anti-ship missiles. Additionally, its high-speed capability, reaching Mach 2 with a supercruise speed of Mach 1.3, makes it a formidable force in long-range engagements.

With its unique blended wing body design, advanced avionics, and next-generation AL-41F1 engines, the Su-57 is poised to be a major attraction at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru, offering a glimpse into Russia’s advancements in stealth and air superiority warfare.
