Bengaluru: Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar distributes food to fans on Appu’s 50th birth anniversary

Bengaluru witnessed an emotional tribute as thousands of fans gathered at Kanteerava Studio to commemorate the 50th birth anniversary of late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. His wife, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, along with their daughters, paid homage at his memorial, offering a special puja in his honour.

The celebration saw large-scale food distribution and charity events, reflecting Puneeth’s philanthropic legacy. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar personally oversaw the distribution of meals, sweets, and buttermilk to fans who had gathered since early morning. Arrangements included 10,000 Nandini Peda, 25,000 packets of buttermilk, and meals for 5,000 people.

Raghavendra Rajkumar, along with his wife Mangala, also visited the memorial and offered prayers. The event featured a blood donation camp and other charitable activities, reinforcing Puneeth Rajkumar’s impact beyond the film industry.

Actor Yuvarajkumar, who also visited the memorial, expressed his admiration for Puneeth’s ever-growing fan base. “Even today, it feels like Appu is among us. His movies continue to attract fans, and it is heartwarming to see them engaging in food and blood donation drives in his memory,” he said.
