Dead body was found near a building under construction

New details have emerged in the case wherein the dead body of a woman was found near a building under construction. A woman who was waiting for an auto was abducted, raped and thrown out. The incident is believed to have occurred during the early hours of the day. 

An auto driver named Mubarak has been identified as the suspect in this case. The incident occurred on 20th February. The body was spotted near the Janata-Co apartment located on Double Road in Shanti Nagar. The body was disfigured beyond recognition. On the surface, it appeared as though the woman had died by falling from the building. The truth was uncovered during the post-mortem as forced penetration was confirmed. 

Investigations led the police to the auto driver. What had transpired on the fateful day became clear during interrogation. 

The woman was waiting for an auto near the market during the early hours of the day. She boarded the auto to be dropped in Sampige Ramanagara.She was taken to the first floor of the under-construction building and raped. She was later dropped from there, resulting in her death. The woman still remains unidentified. The S.R Nagar Police are carrying the investigation forward.
