Bengaluru witnessed yet another deadly hit-and-run case. An auto driver crashed onto an elderly man and fled from the spot. The visuals of the accident are spine chilling. NewsFirst has obtained exclusive footage of the incident. The accident unfolded near the Manjushree Kalyana Mantapa (Marriage Hall) Parvathi Complex in the Laggere area of Bengaluru. It is being suspected that the driver was handling his auto in an erratic manner under the influence of alcohol. The man was walking in the middle of the road. The impact of the collision threw the man onto the ground. The driver was attempting to overtake bikes from the left. It is possible that the man was in a blindspot for the auto. 

The man who was grievously injured was taken to a nearby hospital. The manner in which the auto driver fled the spot was equally shocking. He stopped at the location for a while when passersby rushed to the man’s aid. They were attempting to have the man seated in an upright position. The auto driver is alleged to have promised others to park his auto nearby to avoid a possible accident. However, while the others were invested in the man’s revival, the auto driver made use of an opportune moment to flee the spot.
