Bengaluru’s ongoing tension between auto drivers and Rapido bike taxi drivers escalated once again, with a recent incident of harassment and violence being caught on camera. In a visual accessed by NewsFirst Prime, an auto driver is seen confronting a Rapido driver, resulting in a verbal assault that quickly turned physical. The auto driver, after exchanging harsh words, attempted to engage in fisticuffs, further escalating the situation. The altercation continued when the auto driver snatched the Rapido driver's phone, further intimidating him.

The incident, which took place in a busy area of Bengaluru, was captured on the helmet camera of the Rapido driver, providing clear evidence of the harassment. The visual has since gone viral, drawing widespread attention to the growing conflict between the two groups.

As of now, the issue of banning Rapido services in the city is subjudice, with legal proceedings ongoing. Despite this, incidents of aggression and threats towards Rapido drivers continue to rise, causing concern among the riders and commuters. The authorities are being urged to take swift action to address the growing violence and ensure the safety of all transport service providers in the city.
