A tragic incident has surfaced wherein a Bengaluru-based man drowned to death in the Vatadahosahalli lake in the Gauribidanur Taluk in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka. The deceased individual has been identified as 42-year-old Vinay Ramesh hailing from the Indiranagar region of Bengaluru. 

Vinay had gone to the lake along with a friend for swimming on the weekend. This spot is frequented by residents of Bengaluru on every weekend as the site is a testament to the beauty of nature. He entered the water to have a good time. This unfortunately culminated in the tragic loss of his life.

Efforts to recover his body are underway. Officials of the Police Department and the Fire Department were involved in this operation throughout the night. It has however still not yielded results. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Gauribidanur Rural Police Station. The search for Vonay’s body is still ongoing.
