The biennial Synergia Conclave, renowned for its focus on strategic thinking, returns to the city with a specific emphasis this year on narrowing the gap between technology creators and military stakeholders. Titled “The Future of Advanced Technologies, Global Diplomacy, and National Security,” the event is scheduled to take place at Taj West End from November 17 to 19.
This edition of the conclave is prominently led by key military figures, including General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff, India; Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Chief of Indian Naval Staff; Air Chief Marshal V. R. Chaudhari, Chief of Air Staff; and Lt. Gen. M.U. Nair, National Cybersecurity Coordinator. Notable personalities such as author Yuval Noah Harari will also contribute, with a lecture on “Tech Evolution.”
Highlighting the theme, Tobby Simon, the founder and president of Synergia Foundation, remarked, “While innovators of cutting-edge technologies gather here, there exists a gap between industry creators and the military, the traditional early adopters of advanced technologies. Our aim in this conclave is to bridge this gap.”
The sessions at the conclave will delve into topics such as “Responsible Artificial Intelligence,” “Advanced Technology and Tech Diplomacy,” and “Deep Technology and Long-term Trends.” Additionally, discussions will explore the nature of conflicts in Ukraine and the Israel-Gaza strip, multi-domain warfare, and an insightful session mapping the trajectory of Asia by 2035.
The National Security Advisory Board (NSAB), Government of India, has partnered with the Synergia Foundation for the conclave, and Tata Consultancy Services serves as the principal sponsor of this influential gathering.
