In a shocking incident, a woman was killed inside a Paying Guest (PG) accommodation in the VR Layout region of Koramangala. The deceased individual has been identified as 24-year-old Krithi Kumari. Krithi hails from Bihar. She worked in a private company in Bengaluru. 

The incident is reported to have taken place between 11:10 PM to 11:30 PM on 23rd July. A youngster entered the PG with a knife and slit Krithi’s throat in the 3rd floor of the building. Krithi died on the spot. The Koramangala Police paid a visit to the location of the crime. CCTV visuals are being examined to identify the youngster. The negligence of the PG owners is being cited as the main cause for the death. The youngster is suspected to have known Krithi.

The police are examining the call records of Krithi after having taken her mobile phone under their possession. 3 special teams have been arranged to look into the issue. Various angles pertaining to the case are being explored. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Southeast division of the Bengaluru Police Sarah Fatheema also visited the location of the crime.
