The woman, who resides in Radha Reddy Layout on Sarjapur Road and works as a store supervisor at a hotel, filed a complaint with the Bellandur Police. She stated that she had booked a bike taxi at 11:20 p.m. to meet her husband for dinner, who also works at the same hotel.

According to the complaint, the bike-taxi driver, identified as Biswajit Nath, in his early 20s, picked her up from her residence at 11:40 p.m. During the ride, Nath reportedly deviated from the planned route, citing waterlogging as the reason for taking alternative roads.

As they traveled, the woman received a call from a friend and began speaking in Bengali. Nath, noticing this, engaged her in conversation in the same language. However, he eventually took her to an isolated area and stopped the bike. When the woman questioned him, he allegedly began touching her inappropriately and demanded her cooperation.

After the assault, the accused dropped her off at RMZ Ecoworld, returning her phone but taking Rs 800 from her before fleeing the scene. The police are investigating the matter based on the woman’s complaint.
