In anticipation of large crowds on MG Road, the MG Road Metro Station will be closed for entry and exit from 11:00 PM onwards. Commuters are advised to use nearby Trinity and Cubbon Park stations instead. Passengers traveling from these stations after 11:00 PM can purchase a return journey paper ticket priced at ₹50, available at all metro stations starting 8:00 AM on December 31, 2024. Regular QR code tickets and metro cards remain valid.

To ease boarding, passengers heading to Whitefield and Silk Institute are encouraged to use Trinity Metro Station, while those traveling towards Challaghatta and Madavara should use Cubbon Park Metro Station.

BMRCL has urged the public to plan their travel in advance and cooperate with the measures to ensure a safe and smooth journey into the New Year.
