Bengaluru: BMTC’s ‘Divya Darshana’ temple tour receives overwhelming response!

Here’s some exciting news for Bengaluru residents!

BMTC’s newly launched “Divya Darshana” initiative is receiving a tremendous response from the public. This unique package offers an air-conditioned bus service that covers eight of Bengaluru’s most popular temples, all in a single day.

Under the “Divya Darshana” temple tour package, devotees can visit the following famous temples:

Gali Anjaneya Swamy Temple on Mysore Road, Rajarajeshwari Temple in RR Nagar, Shrungagiri Shanmukha Temple in RR Nagar, Karumari Amma Temple in RR Nagar, Omkar Hills near Uttarahalli, ISKCON Temple (Vaikuntha Hill) in Vasanthapura, Art of Living Ashram on Kanakapura Road, and Banashankari Temple in Banashankari.

The tour is available every Saturday, Sunday, and on government holidays. If there is full booking, BMTC has announced that the service can also be arranged on other days of the week. The day trip starts at 8:30 AM from Majestic and returns to Majestic by 5:30 PM, with comfortable AC bus travel and visits to all the temples.

The ticket prices for the Divya Darshan package are set at Rs 450 for adults and Rs 350 for children. Tickets can be booked online through KSRTC’s official website (ksrtc.in) or by calling BMTC’s contact numbers: 080-22483777 or 7760991170.

Additionally, there have been public requests to include more temples such as Begur Panchalinga Nageshwara Temple, Halasuru Someshwara Temple, and Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple in Guttahalli in the tour itinerary.
