In Karnataka, authorities have apprehended a total of 14 individuals involved in drug trafficking, including three foreign nationals.

This operation, led by the Anti Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch in Bengaluru, resulted in the confiscation of illegal narcotics valued at over Rs 7.83 crore.

Over the past week, the Anti Narcotics Wing's officials and personnel took prompt action in various police jurisdictions across the city, including Vartur, Banashankari, Vidyaranyapura, Cottonpet, and Kadugodi, leading to the filing of seven cases.

In these cases, a total of 14 drug traffickers were apprehended, consisting of three foreign nationals, four individuals from Orissa, four from Kerala, and three from Bengaluru.

The seized contraband comprises 182 kg of ganja, 1.450 kg of hashish oil, 16.2 grams of MDMA crystals, 135 Ecstasy pills, 1 kg of Mephedrone white powder, 870 grams of Mephedrone crystals, 80 grams of Cocaine, and 230 grams of MDMA Ecstasy powder.

Additionally, law enforcement also confiscated eight mobile phones, two automobiles, one scooter, and weighing scales as part of their operations.
