The discussions focused on maintaining decorum, particularly around women and partygoers. Instructions were provided on how to address issues involving intoxicated individuals and ensure they are promptly handed over to the police if necessary.
In addition to bouncers, a meeting was convened with pub owners, bar and restaurant operators, party hall managers, and hotel representatives. The agenda revolved around organizing New Year’s celebrations in compliance with safety guidelines. DCP Shekhar encouraged inputs from stakeholders to refine the plan and ensure a smooth execution.
With increased vigilance and community collaboration, the Central Division aims to uphold its reputation as a favourite destination for New Year’s celebrations, ensuring safety remains a top priority.
