Bengaluru City University (BCU) is set to celebrate its fourth annual convocation tomorrow, June 11, 2025, at 11 AM, under the leadership of Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.R. Jalaja. The announcement was made during a press conference today, highlighting the university’s academic achievements. The event, to be presided over by the Governor of Karnataka, will honor graduates across various disciplines, including six PhD recipients in Mathematics, one in Chemistry, and two in Education.

The convocation will also recognize outstanding students with gold medals. In postgraduate programs, 48 gold medals will be awarded: 14 in Arts, 9 in Commerce, 24 in Science, and 1 in Education. For undergraduate programs, 9 gold medals will be conferred: 1 in Arts, 6 in Commerce, 1 in Science, and 1 in Education. These awards reflect BCU’s commitment to academic excellence across diverse fields.

The ceremony will take place at the university’s campus, with strict arrangements to ensure a smooth event. BCU, established as a prominent institution in Karnataka, continues to uphold its reputation for quality education and innovation. The event is expected to draw faculty, students, and families, marking a significant milestone for the university and its graduates as they step into their professional journeys.
