This year’s flower show pays homage to Adi Kavi Maharshi Valmiki, with colorful floral arrangements celebrating the revered ancient poet. The Horticulture Department, in charge of organizing the event, highlighted that the exhibition incorporates a blend of fruits and flowers to mark Republic Day celebrations.
Visitors have been issued specific advisories to ensure safety. The Horticulture Department has warned against the use of strong perfumes or scents, as these could provoke bees. Additionally, they urge attendees to avoid standing under trees housing beehives, smoking, or using flashlights near the beehives. Mobile lights should also be kept away from these areas to prevent disturbances.
Precautionary measures have been put in place, including stationed ambulances and first-aid facilities for bee stings. Lifeguards are also deployed to handle emergencies involving water bodies within Lalbagh’s premises.
The event promises a stunning visual experience for flower enthusiasts while ensuring public safety through comprehensive guidelines. Attendees are encouraged to follow these instructions for a smooth and enjoyable visit to the iconic Lalbagh Flower Show.
