The deceased has been identified as Rajendra, a native of Tamil Nadu who had been residing in Bengaluru. He was working as a labourer on an ongoing construction project at the St. James College building. According to preliminary reports, Rajendra had been sleeping within the school premises after his work hours.

Tragedy struck when students arriving at school in the morning discovered his body hanging inside the building. The horrifying sight left many children in shock, prompting immediate action by the school administration, which declared a holiday and sent the students back home.

The Amruthahalli Police were called to the scene shortly after and conducted an inspection of the site. They have registered a case and are currently investigating the circumstances that may have led to Rajendra taking such a drastic step.
