Parappana Agrahara police have arrested six individuals accused of coercing people into online gambling schemes. The suspects were found to be operating an illegal network through the Telugu 365 app, pushing numerous victims into activities such as casino gaming and online cricket betting.

During the operation, police recovered assets valued at approximately Rs 20 lakh, including 41 mobile phones, five laptops, and three Wi-Fi routers. The illegal gambling activities were being conducted from an apartment in Bengaluru’s Electronics City, where online cricket betting sessions were also taking place.
The arrested individuals are reportedly from the Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh and were using sophisticated technology to run their illicit trade. According to authorities, they lured victims with promises of big wins and manipulated them into making heavy financial investments.
The crackdown by Parappana Agrahara police marks a significant effort to curb rising online gambling activities in the city. Investigations are ongoing to identify additional links and potential accomplices involved in the network. This bust highlights the growing challenge law enforcement faces in tackling digital gambling crimes and protecting vulnerable victims from exploitation.
