Bengaluru: Customers have much to look forward to during 'gold shopping festival'

The gold lovers of the silicon city have been enthralled by the ongoing gold shopping festival. The motto for this edition appears to be “save in gold, gold will save you.” A mega lucky draw was held in relation to this on 11th November. 

Between 15th October and November 30th, the garden city has become a golden city. More than 200 shops across the city have special discounts available for this period also dubbed as the “gold shopping festival”. The second week of this season consisted of a lucky draw. Vouchers extending up to Rs 5000 have been offered by shops for the sale of gold and silver jewellery. The dealings have so far been fair and transparent for the customers involved. 

The Forum Mall near Konanakunte Cross in the Bengaluru South district announced the lucky winners of the second week. Mall goers were asked several questions related to gold and silver. Those who answered correctly won prizes in the form of gold ornaments on the spot. 228 grams and 680 grams of silver were distributed in the process. 

This draw would continue to be held in the coming two weeks in various parts of the city. A bumper prize contest would be held in the first week of December by the gold dealers association of Bengaluru. To have a shot at the prize one would need to participate in the gold shopping festival and buy gold ornaments.
