Bengaluru: Dance master arrested for sexual harassment of minor in Kadugodi

On the morning of May 24th, a shocking incident took place in Kadugodi, where Bharati Kannan, a 28-year-old dance instructor, was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a minor. The accused reportedly stopped his car near the minor while she was walking along the road.

Claiming to be a dance master, Bharati Kannan convinced the minor to get into his car to discuss dance classes. However, after the minor entered the vehicle, the accused locked the doors and drove a short distance before allegedly harassing her inside the car.

Following the incident, Bharati Kannan returned the minor to the original location. The minor later informed her parents, who immediately filed a complaint with Kadugodi police. Based on this, a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered.

The police have since arrested Bharati Kannan and are conducting a thorough investigation. The accused is currently under intense interrogation. Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward to help ensure justice is served.
