In a disturbing case of repeated animal cruelty, Dr. Sagar Vaidya Narayana, a resident of Brindavan Apartment on first cross, Lakkasandra, has once again come under scrutiny for allegedly assaulting his pet dog, Scooby.

Eyewitnesses claim that Dr. Narayana lifted Scooby and threw him onto a parked car, shattering the car's rear windshield. CCTV footage reportedly supports these allegations, showing the doctor carrying and hurling the dog from an upper floor. The incident has drawn sharp condemnation from local residents and animal lovers.

This isn’t the first time Dr. Narayana has faced such accusations. In February, he was booked for a similar act where he allegedly threw Scooby from the third floor, leaving the dog with spinal injuries. A police complaint was filed at the time, but the latest act has escalated public outrage and triggered a fresh FIR at the Adugodi police station.

Residents, deeply attached to the dog, say Scooby had become a community favorite. “He didn’t deserve this. We used to feed and play with him. It’s heartbreaking,” said a neighbour.

After the latest incident, Dr. Narayana vacated the apartment without responding to queries. Authorities are now investigating both cases, and animal welfare organizations are calling for stricter legal action to prevent further abuse. Scooby passed away.
