Bengaluru: Driver tags man on car bonnet along with him for 400 metres in road rage incident

A case of road rage has come to the forefront in Bengaluru. A man was carried along with the car bonnet for close to 400 metres. The CCTV visuals of a cab driver being dragged despite the vehicle’s owner having seen that he was sleeping on it have gone viral. 

The cab driven by Muneer collided with the car near the Sri Circle Maramma Temple. The cab driver indicated to the car driver Ashwath to stop his car. Ashwath tried to flee without stopping his car. Muneer stood in front of the car to stop from doing so. This however did not dissuade Ashwath. 

The outrage of those around him finally made Ashwath stop his car. The Malleshwaram police officials came to the spot and nabbed Ashwath. A Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) was filed by the police before letting him off.
