Priya’s father, Armugam, shared with NewsFirst Prime his plans to celebrate his daughter's milestone. "I had gifted her new clothes for her birthday," he said, his voice cracking with grief. "This morning, she left for work at 10, promising to return by 7 PM. Now, it’s her lifeless body that is coming home."

The scene at the police station was heart-wrenching, as Armugam broke down, inconsolable at the news of his daughter’s death. Adding to the anguish, he alleged that the showroom's owner fled the scene without informing the family of the incident.

The blaze reduced the showroom and its contents to ashes within minutes, highlighting the tragic dangers linked to potential electrical faults in EVs. The loss of Priya serves as a sobering reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of stringent safety measures in all workplaces.
