A major security scare unfolded at Bengaluru’s Kalasipalya BMTC bus stand after six gelatin sticks and detonators were discovered near a public toilet on Tuesday. The explosives were found concealed in a plastic bag, prompting swift action from local police and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).

Following the discovery, officers from Kalasipalya Police Station and the ATS cordoned off the area and carried out a detailed inspection. The suspicious bag was located outside the toilet inside the busy bus terminal. While no injuries or damage was reported, the incident sparked concerns over potential threats in one of the city's most crowded transit points.

The explosives were recovered separately—a set of gelatin sticks and a few detonators—raising concerns about their intended use. Authorities have not yet registered a First Information Report (FIR), and an investigation is currently underway to trace the source and purpose of the explosives.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning locals in the vicinity to gather more information. No suspects have been identified so far, and the motive behind leaving the explosives remains unclear. Meanwhile, security has been intensified in and around the area to prevent any further incidents.
