A road rage incident turned terrifying for a Bengaluru family when two unidentified men attacked their car, shattering the rear window and injuring a five-year-old child sitting in the backseat. The incident occurred late Tuesday night when the two assailants, on a motorbike, reportedly stopped the car twice, demanding that the driver, Anoop, roll down his window.

When Anoop refused, the men smashed the rear window with a stone, sending glass flying and injuring the young child. A video captured from inside the car shows Anoop's frantic reaction as he shouted, "Mera bachcha tha udhar (my child was there)," while his son cried in pain. The child sustained a serious head injury and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he received three stitches and is under observation due to significant blood loss.

Visuals of the car post-attack reveal shattered glass and bloodstains on the backseat, underscoring the trauma faced by the family. Anoop recounted that the attackers had followed their car for some distance, launching their assault just two kilometers from the family’s home. His wife expressed shock at the brazen attack in a busy area, saying, “Our child was terrified. We spent hours in the hospital; it has been traumatic.” The family has filed a complaint with the Parappana Agrahara police, who are investigating the incident.
