The official asked a fan supporting Pakistan to refrain himself from using the slogan “Pakistan Zindabad”. The fan asked him whether “India Jai ho” and “India Zindabad” slogans are allowed to which the official responded in the affirmative. The fan was annoyed at this. He stated that he had also witnessed the game between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad and has come all the way from Pakistan. “I’m from Pakistan. If I shouldn’t say “Pakistan Zindabad” what else should I say?” the fan exclaimed.

He urged the officer to give him the same instruction while he’s recording the conversation through his mobile camera. The official told him that he’ll consult others on the ground before getting back to him. The fan was still agitated. “I’m in a Pakistan V/S Australia match and I can’t say Pakistan Zindabad?” he asked the official. Their confrontation was mediated by another ground staff who told him it was all good and that he can take his seat.
