Bengaluru: Final rites of Captain MV Pranjal to take place on November 25th

The final glimpse for the public of Captain MV Pranjal who was slain in an anti-terrorist operation is scheduled until 10 A.M on November 25th as per information relayed by his family members. Hundreds had gathered at Jigani in the Anekal Taluk of South Bengaluru to offer their condolences to the parents of MV Pranjal and offer their tribute to the slain soldier wherein his body has been kept in a casket before his final rites are performed.

Through a military ambulance, the body was brought to the Nandanavana Layout in the Nisarga suburb wherein his parents reside. The casket was open to public view starting from 7 A.M and extending up to 9:45 A.M. After this, the Army officials would present the Guard of Honour untill 10:15 A.M. Important officials and representatives of the state government would also be present. An event involving them has been scheduled from 10:15 A.M to 10:30 A.M. 

An event involving only family members and close friends would then take place between 10:30 A.M and 11:30 A.M. The journey towards the spot for the final rites would then commence. A crematorium in Somasundara Palya is where the final rites will take place.
