Yet another incident of a fire accident has surfaced in the city of Bengaluru. A fire accident occurred in Veerabhadra Nagar near Hosakerehalli. Buses which were stationery caught fire. The fire spread across 18 buses within minutes. A total of 28 buses were present in the garage. Two fire engines were dispatched to the location to extinguish the fire. The efforts to extinguish the fire took 2 hours and 30 minutes. The police reached the spot in order to carry out investigations.  The cause for the accident is said to be due to activities pertaining to welding taking place in the premise. 

The garage was named S.V Coach. Work pertaining to cutting and welding were taking place in the garage. An individual named Srinivas was working on the apt fits for the buses for several years. None of the buses in the garage were new. Most of the work that was carried out was with regard to renovation. Wires, cables and L.E.D switches were being affixed to the buses.

There are speculations that the origin of the fire was inside the garage before having spread onto the buses. The spot of the accident was a location which would be frequented by bus owners in order to carry out repairs. Fortunately no individual has been injured as a result of this accident. The area not being cramped provided ample time and space for individuals to evacuate quickly. The garage was spread across 3 acres of land.
