The Sathyaganapati Temple in Bengaluru has garnered attention from devotees due to its extraordinary display during the Ganesh Chathurthi festival.

On this special occasion, the temple premises in JP Nagar were adorned with coins and currency notes amounting to a staggering ₹2.5 crore.

As the Ganesh Chathurthi festivities commenced with great religious enthusiasm in Bengaluru and across Karnataka, worshippers flocked to temples and pandals to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.

The Sathyaganapati Temple’s distinctive embellishment has particularly captivated the devotees.

According to the temple trustees, the management under Shree Sathya Ganapati Shirdi Sai Trust meticulously crafted garlands with 5, 10, and 20 rupee coins, along with denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 500 rupee notes, collectively valued at approximately ₹2.5 crore.

This intricate decoration was executed by a dedicated team of 150 individuals working tirelessly for a month. The display is equipped with state-of-the-art security measures and CCTV surveillance to ensure its safety.

What sets this adornment apart is the artistic depictions created using coins, featuring images of Lord Ganesha, along with inscriptions such as ‘Jai Karnataka,’ ‘Nation First,’ ‘Vikram Lander,’ ‘Chandrayaan,’ and ‘Jai Jawaan Jai Kisan.’
