Netizens had a field day reacting to the post

In a post that has now gone viral, a person shared a correspondence she received from one of the house owners of an accommodation she had inspected in Bengaluru. “Peak Bengaluru moment happened when we got selected after an apparent interview with the house owner,” the post was captioned.

A screenshot of a Whatsapp message was attached in the post. “Hi. It was a pleasure to meet both of you on that day. As I mentioned during our meeting, I’ve been personally meeting with those who have expressed their interest in the property. While I haven’t had the chance to meet everyone yet, I have formed a reasonable idea of who among them would best appreciate and maintain the premises. Among the shortlist, I would like to extend the first offer to both of you,” the screenshot mentioned. The post has received more than 17,000 impressions, 150 likes and 20 retweets.

Netizens had a field day reacting to the post. “He could’ve just started with the terms. Maybe some old professor or non-Indian? Or could such superfluous message be written by AI if some property startup was involved? Curious, what followed afterwards in the terms (sic),” a user commented. Those experienced in navigating the terrain of Bengaluru house hunts however saw this as part of the routine.
