In a case of alleged medical negligence, a mother who just delivered twins passed away. The family of the deceased has blamed the hospital for the tragic turn in their life. A case has been registered at the Jeevan Bhima nagar police station.

Janani, the mother in question was operated upon 65 days prematurely, she delivered twins. NewsFirst Prime learns that she had been given the due date on July 5, but she was operated upon May 2. Due to the alleged medical negligence, she suffered a massive internal bleeding. Though her condition was critical, the doctors reportedly did not inform her husband about it.

Later, they shifted her to Manipal Hospital for further treatment. There she fought for life for 20 days, but ultimately succumbed. As if adding to injury, the hospital authorities ditched out a bill for a humongous Rs 10 lakh. But Janani’s family still maintains that it was the Cloud9 Hospital authorities that shifted her to Manipal Hospital and not they.

The family further alleges that it paid an advance of Rs. 1,30,000. At the same time, the family also states that it was made to spend around Rs 30 lakhs on various reasons. Even as the husband pleads helplessness and sobs over the loss of his wife, Manipal Hospital is yet to hand over the body to the family.
