In a shocking incident from Anekal taluk near Bengaluru, a man named Shankar (28) allegedly beheaded his wife, Manasa (26), suspecting her of infidelity, and surrendered at the Surya Nagar police station with her severed head.

The couple, who had married for love, had recently moved to a rented house in Heelalige village. On the night of June 3, Shankar informed Manasa that he was leaving for work and would return the next morning. However, he returned home unexpectedly late at night and reportedly found Manasa with another man. Enraged by the situation and alleged repeated harassment from his wife, Shankar attacked both individuals. He then used a machete to behead Manasa.

Following the act, Shankar transported his wife's head on his motorcycle to the Surya Nagar police station and surrendered. Police have taken him into custody and are conducting further investigations.
