Bengaluru: Individual groping women in Lulu Mall identified

The Bengaluru police have identified the individual who was caught on video, groping women inside the Lulu mall. The individual has been identified as Ashwath Narayan. Ashwath Narayan is a resident of Basaveshwara Nagar. 60-year-old Ashwath Narayan was a teacher in a prominent school in the city. 

By the time the police had arrived at his residence, Ashwath had managed to escape. The police were purview to a locked door as they approached his residence in order to apprehend the accused. 

The incident in question had occurred on 28th October. The accused was spotted touching multiple women in a covert manner. A youngster named Yashwanth had managed to capture the proceedings on his mobile phone. He later filed a complaint with the mall officials regarding this affair. The video had subsequently become viral on social media. The manager of the mall had registered a complaint with the police as a result of this.

 After a detailed investigation, the police managed to uncover the identity of the perpetrator. Currently, efforts are underway to trace Ashwath Narayan’s whereabouts.
