Bengaluru introduces ‘NAMMA Code’ for hassle-free multiple auto rides with a single code

In a major convenience boost for Bengaluru commuters, Nagaraa, the city's metered autorickshaw app, has launched a new feature called ‘NAMMA Code.’ Unveiled in celebration of Karnataka Rajyotsava, this innovation allows users to book multiple auto rides across the city using a single code for the entire day.

The NAMMA Code offers a four-digit code, valid until midnight, simplifying the booking process. Unlike the previous system that required a new code for each trip, users now need just one code to book rides from various locations without repeatedly entering trip details.

To generate the code, users simply message "Hi" to Nagaraa’s WhatsApp chatbot at 9620020042. After sharing their initial pick-up information, users receive driver and autorickshaw details. They can then reuse this code to book additional trips until midnight.

Developed by Agnibu Technologies and Brand Pride Mobility Pvt Ltd, NAMMA Code aims to enhance convenience for both riders and drivers. CEO Niranjanardhya N highlighted how the feature benefits drivers by reducing idle time, allowing them to find passengers more quickly and complete more rides daily.

Nagaraa is also exploring a collaboration with Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) to integrate NAMMA Code with Namma Metro’s chatbot, enabling metro passengers to book autos directly from metro stations.

With over 6,200 auto drivers onboarded and growing demand, the app is changing how Bengaluru navigates autorickshaw travel, providing smoother, metered rides citywide.
