Pune follows in second place with 14.8%, while Hyderabad ranks third at 11.9%. Both cities attract women investors due to robust career opportunities, modern infrastructure, and a high quality of life. The report underscores a significant shift in financial independence among Indian women, with more of them taking charge of investment decisions.

The increasing number of female property buyers highlights a broader societal change where long-term financial security is a growing priority. As women gain greater purchasing power, their influence in the real estate market is expanding, reshaping ownership patterns and contributing to more equitable wealth distribution.

Experts see this trend as a reflection of progress toward gender parity in financial decision-making. With more women investing in homes, the real estate sector is witnessing a transformation, reinforcing the role of property ownership in economic empowerment.

As Women’s Day celebrates achievements and aspirations, this surge in homeownership among women signals a positive step toward financial independence and equality in India.
