The third season of the Karnataka Mini Olympics is set to be inaugurated at Kanteerava Stadium on November 14 by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. Scheduled to run until November 20, the sporting event will see participation across 24 categories, including athletics, badminton, basketball, and tennis.

Over 4,000 athletes, supported by 400 technical and organizational personnel, are expected to take part. Winners will be awarded medals, certificates, scholarships, and cash prizes. Participants will also receive track suits and caps, while technical staff will be provided T-shirts, lowers, and caps as part of the event’s provisions.
Accommodation has been arranged at Kanteerava indoor and outdoor facilities as well as in Vidyanagar to ensure a comfortable stay for participants.
Dr. K Govindaraj, President of the Karnataka Olympic Association, along with its Secretary Ananth Raju and D Randeep, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, provided event details during a media briefing.
