Residents of Mallasandra, located near Talaghattapura on Kanakapura Road, experienced a surge of anxiety on Saturday afternoon following reports of a leopard sighting in the area. In response, the Bengaluru Urban Forest Division deployed personnel from the Leopard Task Force (LTF) to conduct a combing operation in the evening. However, due to civilian and vehicular movement, the operation was suspended and is planned to resume during the night. Residents have been advised to remain vigilant and avoid venturing out during late hours.

This incident adds to the growing concerns over leopard sightings in Bengaluru's residential areas, prompting authorities to intensify monitoring and safety measures.
