In a dramatic Lokayukta operation today, District Health Officer Sunil Kumar's residence in Basaveshwaranagar, Bengaluru, was raided. The operation began at 6 a.m., but Kumar did not open his door despite repeated attempts. By 10:15 a.m., the sleuths resorted to breaking into his home via the lift after jumping over the compound from a neighboring house. Kumar's luxurious four-story residence, with seven rooms, was thoroughly searched, including the sump, for valuables.

Authorities continue to investigate the officials, probing allegations of corruption linked to their positions. The raids are part of ongoing efforts by the Lokayukta to combat corruption within the state government.
