Social media users lauded his eco-friendly initiative, calling it an inspiring step toward sustainable water management. He also addressed questions about his process, explaining how he maintains water cleanliness and separates domestic and farm water at the source. The setup includes a 16,000-litre domestic storage tank and a 12,000-litre farm collection tank.
Rainwater harvesting, a growing practice in urban and rural areas, helps in conserving water by preventing runoff and enabling its use for irrigation and household needs. Meanwhile, Bengaluru witnessed heavy rainfall on Saturday, resulting in waterlogging and traffic congestion. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported 3.6 mm of rainfall in the city.
