Garbage disposal is a huge problem in Bengaluru. Shockingly, a person has lethally attacked another individual over a dispute that arose over disposal of garbage. The incident took place in Islampur near the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

60-year-old Dilshad was grievously injured while he was attacked by 40-year-old Khaleem. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. He is in a critical condition and fighting for his life.

Dilshad and Khaleem were neighbours. There were frequent fights between the two as one of them claimed that the other individual would dispose of his garbage in front of his house. A fight along the same lines also ensued on 10th March. Khaleem is reported to have hit Dilshad with a rod on this occasion resulting in complications. A complaint has been filed in this regard in the HAL Police Station.
