A dramatic incident unfolded aboard a BMTC bus near Magadi Road on Sunday, when a man who appeared unconscious and unresponsive sparked fears of a heart attack, leading to panic among fellow passengers and swift intervention by the police and ambulance services.

The man had boarded the bus at Dasarahalli Toll Gate, and during the journey towards Magadi Road, passengers noticed sudden changes in his physical condition. Despite repeated attempts to wake him, shouting, shaking, and calling out, the man showed no response, leading many to suspect he was having a heart attack.

Alarmed, co-passengers alerted the local police, prompting the driver to stop the bus in front of the Magadi Road Police Station. The police immediately evacuated all passengers from the bus and made way for ambulance services, which also arrived promptly.

For the next 10 tense minutes, police officers tried desperately to revive the man by speaking to him and even attempting to offer water. However, he remained motionless and continued to appear unconscious.

Then, unexpectedly, the man opened his eyes, and the scene took a surprising turn. Instead of expressing gratitude or concern, he lashed out at the officers, aggressively questioning why an ambulance had been called and angrily confronting those who tried to help.

Police had to work hard to calm him down, but when his behaviour escalated beyond control, he was taken to the nearby police station for further inquiry. Preliminary suspicion suggests that the man was heavily intoxicated and had lost physical balance and awareness, which may have caused the alarming scene.
