In a tragic incident at Silicon City Hospital in Hoskote, a 52-year-old man, Konappa, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was declared brain dead within minutes of arriving at the facility. According to hospital sources, Konappa walked into the hospital on his own, complaining of chest pain. Just as doctors began preparing for treatment, he collapsed near the emergency ward.

Medical staff attempted to stabilize him, but he suffered a cardiac arrest, which rendered his brain non-functional almost immediately. CCTV footage captures the moment Konappa entered the hospital on foot — a chilling reminder of how quickly health emergencies can unfold.

Doctors revealed that he was active and alert just hours before the incident. As they prepared to shift him to another facility for advanced care, his brain had already become inactive, confirming brain death.

The family was left devastated by the sudden turn of events. Konappa’s death adds to a growing number of similar cases being reported in recent months.

In Hassan and surrounding regions, several individuals have died in similar fashion due to sudden cardiac arrests. Doctors stress the importance of regular health checkups, early detection of heart-related issues, and maintaining a stress-free lifestyle.

Medical professionals are urging the public not to ignore early signs like chest discomfort or fatigue and to seek immediate help.
