On August 13, the last metro train will depart at 10 p.m., an hour earlier than the usual 11 p.m. schedule. On August 14, the first train will begin operations at 6 a.m. instead of the usual 5 a.m., with the last train again scheduled for 10 p.m. The schedule on August 15 will mirror that of the previous day, with the first train starting at 6 a.m.
The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has confirmed that these adjustments are necessary to facilitate the extension work and ensure the safe and timely completion of the project. However, there will be no changes to the timetable for the Purple Line, which will continue to operate as usual.
Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and be aware of the revised timings to avoid any inconvenience. The BMRCL has urged passengers to stay informed through official channels for any further updates during this period of disruption. The Green Line schedule is expected to return to normal after August 15, once the necessary work is completed.
